Jazz for Juniors review

What a wonderful album! Right off the starting gate we're going to give this one two thumbs up all around.
It's a wonderfully creative album. We start with a Tiger who loves jazz and then start adding animals (elephant, hippo, giraffe, etc.) who each specialize in some instrument -- and feature them for a song so the kiddos hear the music being played. These animal musicians travel around the world meeting various animals and having them join up into the band.
Then, at the end, they play variations on a couple of songs including "This Little Light of Mine". We discovered that our Tiger loves Dixieland and Swing. Absolutely loves it. But he's always been partial to horns (and the trumpet in particular).
We have listened to other jazz albums for kids and enjoyed them quite a bit (Jazz for Kids being a big winner). But this one tops them all. Both boys were enchanted and are singing right along. It's getting a ton of playtime which of course is an easy indicator of enjoyment!
